Acer Aspire R 13 Active Pen - bekerja sempurna menggunakan teknologi Acer Hover Akses untuk mengaktifkan pop - up dan menu. Cukup dengan arahkan stylus tepat di atas layar dan kemudian tekan tombol di bagian samping stylus. Selanjutnya akan muncul menu pilihan aplikasi yang memang telah dioptimalkan dengan Active Pen seperti Microsoft OneNote, Windows Journal, Microsoft Sticky Note, Microsoft Fresh Paint, dan Acer Screen Grasp. Selain menjalankan 5 aplikasi tersebut, Active Pen tentunya juga dapat mengoperasikan aplikasi lain yang terinstall pada Acer Aspire R 13 dengan sempurna.
